Hydrosphere Water Gardens owners, Chris and Carla Dahl, have over 30 years expereince in the pond industry and take pride in on supplying our customers with everything they need to make their ponds beautiful and enjoyable.
Chris has a B.Sc. specialized honours in Marine Biology to compliment his 25 years experience in fish husbandry. He has designed and constructed dozens of ponds and water features, and also provides pond maintenance and consultation services. In addition, he has worked as an aquarist for Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Fish Curator at the Rainforest Cafe Niagara Falls, At the Toronto Zoo for the Curator of Fishes where he travelled to Kenya to help install exhibit ponds at the National Museum of Kenya in Kisumu. Also, for several years he was the Fish Curator at Bass Pro Shops in Vaughan where he maintained the 35,000 gallon aquarium housing native fish of Ontario and 10,000 gallon pond housing trout.
