James Brydon Hardy Red Water Lily

James Brydon is a great red water lily. It is as popular today as it was when it was first hybridized back in 1900. The brilliant bright red flowers are very cup-shaped,resembling a peony bloom. The new leaves emerge a purple / maroon colour and then gradually change to green. Always a favourite with visitors.

Description: Very free flowering, 4"-5" bright red cup shaped flowers with 27 petals.

Location: Full sun / partial shade

Size: Medium spread. Makes a nice addition to tub gardens and even large ponds

  • Hardy plant orders are generally available to be shipped from April 15 until July 31
  • Tropical plants are shipped from May 15 until July 31 to reduce the risk of frost damage.
  • All plants are shipped bare root and should be planted into appropriate containers immediately upon arrival.

Plant orders are shipped Xpresspost and incur additional shipping charges. Orders are shipped on Monday or Tuesday after your order is placed to reduce the risk of them sitting in their boxes over the weekend.

There are additional packing / handling charges associated with all plant orders. The additional packing / handling charge varies by plant type. These charges are shown below and are automatically added to the shipping charge of your order at checkout.
