James Brydon is a great red water lily. It is as popular today as it was when it was first hybridized back in 1900. The brilliant bright red flowers are very cup-shaped,resembling a peony bloom. The new leaves emerge a purple / maroon colour and then gradually change to green. Always a favourite with visitors.
