Nature's Choice Barley Straw Pellets - 2 lb - treats a 2000 gallon pond for up to 3 months

Natural Algae Control! Barley Pellets utilize barley degradation technology to help manage algae problems throughout Spring, Summer and Fall. When placed in an area of the pond where there is steady water flow the barley pellets will slowly degrade. As the pellets degrade they emit a substance that assists in keeping your pond clean all season long.

Features:

  • Can be used inside most filters and skimmer systems, as well as set off to the side of the pond.
  • Includes mesh bag for easy application.
  • Tap into the natural degrading power of barley to help create a clear pond.
  • 2 lb. box treats up to 3,000 gal
  • Last up to 3 months

When To Apply Nature’s Choice™:

CrystalClear® Nature’s Choice™ Barley Straw Pellets can be applied when pH levels are between 6.5 and 9.0 and can be used all season long.

How To Apply Nature’s Choice™:

CrystalClear® Nature’s Choice™ Barley Straw Pellets can be applied in skimmer units, filter units, waterfall units or in any area of water movement. Add 2 lbs of CrystalClear® Nature’s Choice™ Barley Straw Pellets in a media bag for up to 2,000 gallons you pond and leave it in for up to 3 months. After three months it is best to replace the bag with new pellets and begin a new bag. If the bag should be left in longer than two months the barley will begin to rot and could create an unsafe condition within the pond.
