The UV-C technology in Bitron C clarifiers helps ensure consistently clear and healthy water by flocculating ("clumping") microscopic green algae that are the main contributors to green and cloudy pond water. Once flocculated, the algae clumps are removed from circulation by the filter. This controls the occurrence of algae and reduces the effects of harmful byproducts from algae decomposition.
The newest revolution among UV-Clarifiers with the highest level of efficiency thanks to an even longer water dwell time (time in which the water is in contact with UV Light). Irradiation times are regulated automatically and thus energy costs are reduced by as much as 50%!
