Marujyu (Marukyu) Koi Farm is located in the Yamakoshi region and is now owned by Shigeyoshi Tanaka, the third generation running this farm. After having 99% of their stock destroyed after the earthquake in 2004, they decided to focus on breeding small numbers of high quality Go-Sanke and Goromo. They sell most of their koi to the Japanese high quality koi market. Their varieties include: Kohaku, Showa, Sanke and Goromo.
