This mix of 10-13 cm Tosai ( 1 year old) Japanese koi from the breeder Marusaka is full of Doitsu, metallic and Gin-rin koi. This lot contains many unique and striking koi and includes varieties such as Kikokuryu, Kikusui, Beni-Kumonryu, Sanke, Doitsu Kohaku, Ginrin Kujaku, Ginrin Chagoi and a few others.
Marusak Koi Farm – is now run by Teruyuki Hiroi, but was originally founded by his grandfather Teruchiyo in the late 1940’s in Ojiya. They have been well known for their Sanke for many years, but are also now producing many varieties of metallic koi.
