These 14-16 cm cm Japanese koi are ‘Select Koi’ Tosai (1 year old) from the breeder Sakazume. ‘Select Koi’ are hand picked by the breeder so you know they are excellent quality. The varieties include: Budo Goromo, Kikusui, Yamato, Kujaku, Kohaku, Sanke, Doitsu Sanke and a few Tancho.

Sakazume Koi Farm – now run by Shinsaku Sakazume in the Yamakoshi region is an older farm, established in 1964 by Shinsaku’s father. They have become well known within Japan and around the world for their Aigoromo, although they produce other quality koi. The varieties of koi they are most well know for are Aigoromo, Budo Goromo, Sanke, Kohaku, Kujaku and Yamato Nishiki.
