This is a mix of large Tosai (1 year old koi) from the Marusei Koi Farm. Already 20-23 cm in length, these are bigger than your average Tosai, so they have potential to grow in to large adults. This box includes many different varieties including: Gosanke, Mizuho Ogon, Shusui, Matsuba, Tancho Sanke, Mukashi Ogon, Ginrin Karashi, Hi Utsuri, Yamabuki, Ginrin Kohaku, Shiro Utsuri, Asagi and more.
Marusei Koi Farm is one of the largest koi farms in the Niigata region. Originally founded by Seitaro Hirasawa, the farm is now run by his son Yoshiyuki. They have become well known their varieties of koi such as Go-Sanke, Kujaku, Hi-Utsuri, Chagoi, Shusui, Benigoi, Mizuho Ogon, Asagi, Aka Matsuba, Yamabuki, Karashigoi, Kinmatsuba and others.
