Online Casino Scam

Online gaming is increasingly loved, used and celebrated. Unfortunately, the world of the web is really wide and, not infrequently, it can happen to end up on fictitious sites aimed exclusively at theft of money, data or something else. Scams on online casinos are therefore the order of the day but don't worry, there are safe and effective ways to be able to avoid them and play online in peace.

First of all we must necessarily distinguish casinos with a regular AAMS license and those that do not. The former, in fact, can and must be considered 100% safe casinos. These are portals that have received authorization from the Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies - the Italian body that supervises the activity of casinos - and which are therefore safe and reliable. Otherwise, many portals without an AAMS certificate are insecure places where it is possible to run into a scam.

The casinos that have "off-shore" offices can approach the user thanks to their extraordinary bonuses but, sometimes, they can also rob him, thanks to these extraordinary offers. Some of these casinos are controlled by European and non-European national bodies, while others are free to steal as much and as they want.

To defend yourself from fake or fraudulent casinos, you can visit the AAMS portal and look for the casino you want to register with. If the search is successful you will find the casino code and its certification complete with number, release data and expiration date.

Another method used by scammers is to send emails posing as casinos. These phishing and spam attempts are done by offering big bonuses to players and mimicking the style of their home casino. Obviously it's all fake and, just by clicking and providing the requested data, the player is heavily scammed.

Of course, to avoid falling into the trap you need a lot, a lot of attention. Yet, with a little patience, it is possible to avoid falling victim to this kind of scam attempt. Let's see together how.

In the first place, the recipient must always check if the message arrives in their own language (in this case Italian) and if it comes from a portal to which you are registered or, otherwise, from a portal unknown to you. Another fundamental factor is given by the presence of grammatical errors or characters that should not be there such as zeros or exclamation points placed at random within sentences.

To carry out a further check, if the e-mail received coincides with the casino you use and is written in good Italian, you should look for the e-mail with which the casino communicated the successful registration. At that point, you should compare the two addresses, and they almost certainly won't match.

In this way you will have discovered an attempt to scam against you and you will have saved yourself from many and very annoying problems. Otherwise, the one in which everything coincides, you can sleep peaceful dreams: it is only your trusted casinos that warn you of the publication of new offers just published.
